Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026 / Effective: June 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to the memory-training game "Memory Blink" (Japanese title: シカクキオク) (the "App") and describes how the App's developer ("Developer", "we", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of the App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

This Policy is the English translation of the original Japanese version. In the event of any inconsistency between the Japanese and English versions, the Japanese version shall prevail.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not ask you to enter your name, email address, phone number, or similar information, and it does not require you to create an account. The App handles the following information.

1.1 Information Stored on Your Device

This information is stored only on your device (in the App's local storage) and is not transmitted to our servers or to any third party. If you delete the App, this information is removed from your device.

1.2 Information Collected in Connection with Advertising

The App is provided free of charge and displays ads using Google AdMob, provided by Google LLC ("Google"), to support its operation. To deliver, display, and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google and parties involved in ad delivery may collect and use the following information in connection with your use of the App:

The handling of this information is governed by the privacy policies of Google and the other providers involved. For information about how Google uses this data, please see the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

1.3 Consent Management (UMP)

The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). In regions where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar laws apply, a consent form is presented before ads are requested. Depending on your consent, you will be shown either personalized or non-personalized ads.

1.4 App Tracking Transparency on iOS (ATT)

On iOS, using the advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized ads may require permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. The App may request such permission where necessary. If you do not grant permission, you will be shown non-personalized ads.

1.5 Notifications

The App may use local notifications (notifications scheduled on your device) to encourage continued use. These notifications are generated and managed entirely on your device; the App does not use a push-notification server or device token and does not transmit any information externally in connection with notifications. You can turn off notifications from your device settings or from within the App.

1.6 Information Collected for Analytics and Crash Reporting

The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google, to understand usage and to detect and fix problems and improve quality. Through these services, the following information is sent to Google: an anonymous app instance identifier assigned per app installation, device information (device model, OS version, language and region settings), usage events such as screen views and interactions within the App, and crash information when the App crashes (such as the location of the crash, stack traces, and device state at that time). This information does not include data that directly identifies you, such as your name. For information about how Google uses this data, please see the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Paid Plan (Subscription)

We use this information to verify and maintain your entitlement. We do not collect credit card numbers or other payment instrument details directly.

You can manage ad personalization from your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or Apple Advertising; Android: Settings → Google → Ads), including resetting your advertising identifier and opting out of personalized ads. Where applicable law (including the EU/UK GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA) grants you rights such as access, deletion, or opt-out, you may exercise them by contacting us at the address in Section 10. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not primarily directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age under applicable local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from such children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will promptly delete it. Parents or guardians who believe their child may have provided information through the App may contact us using the information in Section 10.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Communication between the App and external services is encrypted in transit.
